The school environment beyond the classroom is a critical part of student development and an important component of becoming well-rounded members of society. We strive to provide our students with the proper balance of academic, sporting and creative opportunities so they can be successful both in and outside of the classroom.

Extracurricular Activity
Extra-curricular activities are a great way to learn new skills and just to relax at the end of the hard school day. At BIS we offer a wide range of activities every day. Each academic year we offer about 60 different ECAs!
Sports
All grades have physical education as part of the curriculum and all are offered active extra-curricular activities in a wide range of sports. For students in middle and high school who are committed to sports programme we also have competitive sports teams for both girls and boys
Community and Creative Projects
All students from Primary School to High School are involved in different community projects. In Middle School, Service as Action is part of the IB Middle Years Programme, as is the Community Project in the 3rd year of MYP.
School Bus
Seven routes connecting the School with Central and South-East Bishkek which arrive at school at 7:45 and leave school at 16:40.
