On Saturday, we organised the last BISA event for 2021/22. The students competed in Cross country in the well-known Karagachevaya Roscha forest. Students from UWIS and QSI joined us this year. Over a hundred students ran on Saturday. The day was perfect for running. There was no sun, we expected rain that did not fall and did not ruin our event. Students competed in three age categories (U19, U15, U11) divided by gender.

Medals were also awarded for the best teams. The team consists of the two best placed boys and girls. All the first places were taken by our students. In some races, the great individual results of the girls helped the team to win, and in others it was the boys. It tells us how important team spirit and perseverance are for running. Each position in the race brings some points to the school and it is very important to do your best by the end of the race. Huge success and great fact that makes us obligated for the next competitions. We will organise the CAXC international competition in October, when our peers from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will be our guests. Until then, we need to make teams that will have a minimum 4 and maximum 8 runners. We will compete in relays and races at 3, 4 and 5 km. The number of students is limited and we will have to have qualifications before that competition.
