It was so wonderful to have our BIS community together to celebrate Nooruz together. Despite the minor inconvenience of changing the date,
we much preferred the Springtime-like 24 degrees compared to the Winter-like 3 degrees and snow we had on our original celebration date!
The Nooruz celebration included a great lineup of performances, including singing and dancing by classes from Preschool 1 up to Grade 5, DP
students dancing, teachers dancing and playing Komuz and some wonderful guest dancers.
Thanks to PAMC for the delicious drinks served, and to our wonderful kitchen staff for cooking up some tasty plov and other Kyrgyz dishes. Students and their families also had a chance to enjoy some traditional Kyrgyz games on the field before the end of the day. Thanks to Nazgul Sultakeeva, the Performing Arts Team, the Maintenance and Kitchen Staff, Ms Mirzat and all involved in making this day a great success!
