Does the mass of a substance change when the substance changes state? What happens to the mass when we combine two substances together such as salt and water?
Before the break, Grade 5 spent a fun lesson doing experiments in the science lab. A big thank you to Mr Zhandos and Ms Soumiya for spending time to lead the Grade 5 students on an interesting quest!

The best part was when we got to use the equipment, and weigh things. All the
equipment was cool, and the second best thing was to wear the science lab jackets.

It was cool to actually use the science equipment, and to see that all of the teams had different results. I’m excited to go to MYP next year, and do more experiments.
