Grade 1 Yellow students explored different cultures, traditions, and holidays in their Unit of Inquiry “How We Express Ourselves”. We discussed different celebrations that people celebrate worldwide and found out about various cultures. We connected our UOI topic across the subjects and learned about time in math and how people tracked time using astronomical bodies in science lessons. One of our discoveries was the moon phases and celebration of the Full Moon Festival in some countries. 

Grade 1 students used their measuring and baking skills to bake the mooncake and enjoyed it very much.
