On Friday, April 15, BIS’s annual Art Exhibition and Poetry Evening wowed all
who attended with the prolific art and talents of the BIS student body. The Big
Hall was transformed into a vibrant museum of statuary, paintings, mandalas,
and art pieces of all forms and media created over the past year by students
from pre-school to the DP. The verbal arts were also represented with stirring
poetry recitations at an open mic. Winning authors and poets from a schoolwide story and poetry contest were also on hand to sign inaugural copies of the BIS literary magazine. A live string quartet lent a touch of sophistication while guests circulated with hors d’oeuvres. It was a night to remember, and we hope you’ll join us again next year!
