Last Friday, Grade 2 Blue and 2 Yellow held a charity sale to wrap up our unit of inquiry: how we organize ourselves. Students sold handcrafted items like bookmarks, ornaments, origami, bracelets, and much more to help raise funds for their selected charity.

Our learners were able to use what they learned in their UOI lessons about spending and saving money, budgeting, and transactions to plan this event. They were also able to practice their addition and subtraction skills during the sale.

Overall, the 2 classes raised 11,639 som for the charity “Dobriye Ruki” to help homeless animals in Bishkek.
